History

Weber + Calibra - tradition since 1929, future within the NOTZgroup

The history of Weber + Calibra goes back to 1929.

Walter Weber established Weber + Cie in the small village of La Heutte in Switzerland. Fifty years later, in 1974, Walter’s sons Willy and Hugo Weber set up Calibra SA just a few kilometers away in Sonceboz-Sombeval. In 2001 the two companies merged to form Weber + Calibra SA. Since 2014, Pierre Weber, son of Hugo Weber and representative of the fourth generation, has played a key role in the company's development.

After four generations under the leadership of the Weber family, the integration of Weber + Calibra SA into the NOTZgroup in 2023 marked the beginning of a new chapter in the company's history. Today, the company continues to grow as a member of the NOTZgroup, building on the heritage and expertise that have shaped its success for nearly a century.
