History

Weber + Calibra: a family company to date.

The history of Weber + Calibra goes back to 1929.

Walter Weber established Weber + Cie in the small village of La Heutte in Switzerland. Fifty years later, in 1974, Walter’s sons Willy and Hugo Weber set up Calibra SA just a few kilometers away in Sonceboz-Sombeval. In 2001 the two companies merged to form Weber + Calibra SA. In 2014 Hugo’s son Pierre Weber took over running the company. Following the acquisition of Weber + Calibra SA by the NOTZgroup in 2023 the management of the company continues to involve the fourth generation of the Weber family.
